The material arrives as refined, floor-focused techno with an electronic edge that rewards repeated rotation. Across eight tracks, the average 8.7 score reflects a consistency in weight and detail; the Ilian Tape releases carry a raw, textured physicality, while Dekmantel outings offer a polished, expansive take on the same kinetic energy. There is no drift into softer territories—every cut maintains a functional, high-pressure focus.
Within the underground, this sound occupies a space where technical precision meets club durability. The split between Ilian Tape’s rugged output and Dekmantel’s sharp curation places it at a crossroads of underground functionality and forward-thinking electronic craft. It is body music with brains, engineered for systems that favour depth and drive over fleeting trends.
