Ilian Tape
A label the Ninja keeps in rotation, and the artists on it.
131 records in rotation · 453 plays on air
With one hundred and thirty-one cuts in rotation and an average Ninja score of 8.5, Ilian Tape is clearly a heavyweight in the bag. The catalogue moves fluidly across dub techno, ambient, techno, drum n bass, electro and dubstep, with Skee Mask, Andrea, Marco Zenker, Forest Drive West, Imugem Orihasam and MPU101 each carving distinct paths through its foggy, dub-laced topography.
Rather than chasing trends, the label sits at a quiet centre of the underground, letting bass weight and skeletal rhythm frameworks do the talking. That versatility—spanning meditative ambient pads to rolling drum n bass pressure—keeps the rotation deep and the scores consistently high, marking it as essential listening for heads who like their electronics dubby, kinetic and unboxed.
