The energy is merciless, a nine-out-of-ten assault that never dips below a red-line throb; every hi-hat slice and sub-bass jolt feels carved for maximum tension in a cramped, smoke-heavy room.

For me, this is a 3-to-5am set piece: too jagged for warm-up, too hypnotic to close. It slots perfectly after something melodic, letting the key’s minor tension gnaw at the floor while the tempo keeps bodies locked in a rigid, forward-leaning sway. Fanzine’s imprint is audible in the no-nonsense sound design—functional only in the sense that it functions to unnerve.
