OBJEKT

With nine cuts currently in rotation and a formidable 8.5 average, Objekt’s label operates as a tightly controlled laboratory where dubstep’s sub-bass pressure, techno’s skeletal drive and house’s fluid momentum are stripped to their essentials and reassembled with exacting, almost clinical detail. Rather than diluting across a broad roster, the output is channelled through a singular vision, lending the catalogue a coherent, almost auteurist edge deep within the underground. It remains a reliable source of forward-thinking electronic music that stubbornly refuses to sit neatly in any one corner.
