The Ninja on this record
At 133 bpm in 7A, the track locks into a steely, unyielding groove that feels designed for rooms where the lights have long since dropped. The energy is high but carefully channelled rather than chaotic: a taut, interlocking framework of percussion and atmosphere that pushes forward without loosening its grip on the floor.
There is a rawness to the texture—grit sits right on the surface without ever clogging the momentum—making it precisely suited to the later hours when the crowd is already primed. It functions as a bridge record, shifting a set from controlled tension into something more fevered without resorting to obvious peaks or breakdowns.
