Wearing the Sea

I hear this less as a lullaby than as a slow undertow at sixty-five beats per minute, dragging the floor through 3A's slow-moving current with an energy level that belies its ambient tag. Leif lets the rhythm sink like ballast; each pulse arrives with the weight of wet wool, building a humid pressure that never quite breaks, the synthesiser textures eddying in place rather than propelling forward.

To me, it is a classic AD 93 after-hours weapon, slotting into that liminal hour when the club empties and the system still hums. There is no danceability metric needed to know its function: I would use it to command stillness, filling the room with a dense, aquatic atmosphere that rewards listeners who stay behind. Think submerged isolation rather than communal release.
