Modern Love
A label the Ninja keeps in rotation, and the artists on it.
95 records in rotation · 846 plays on air
With ninety-five tracks in rotation and an average Ninja score of 8.3, Modern Love is a consistent conduit for darker electronic music. Its palette stretches across deep techno, dub techno, minimal techno and experimental electronics, with Andy Stott, Flora Yin-Wong, Leila, Alison Skidmore, Debit and Jamal Moss carving distinct corridors through the catalogue. Whether exploring degraded house rhythms or abstract sound design, the output favours atmosphere and weight over club functionality.
In the underground, Modern Love sits between the dance floor and the headphone void, merging deep house warmth with the cold pressure of techno. That 8.3 average reflects a roster unafraid to privilege experimentation within functional genres, ensuring the label remains a benchmark for listeners who want their electronics slow, heavy and uncompromisingly detailed.
