Dirty Cash (Money Talks)

The Ninja · 7.4/10

I hear this reboot strip the original to its hook, rebuilding around a steady 133 BPM framework that locks the floor without redlining. PAWSA keeps the vocal front and centre, but the production is taut, metallic techno—cold synths and a rigid groove that feels more warehouse than chart-bound. To my ears, it is propulsive enough for peak time, yet that energy level of seven leaves just enough headroom for the melody to breathe.

In my sets, this works as a crossover weapon: the familiar refrain lures stragglers while the tougher pulse drags them toward the techno quarter. Dropped in a sun-drenched terrace or cavernous room, the bright tonality of 7B cuts through the haze, unifying the floor. I would not call it revolutionary, but as a functional bridge between nostalgia and the contemporary crowd, it lands with precision.
