Toy Tonics
A label the Ninja keeps in rotation, and the artists on it.
18 records in rotation · 37 plays on air
With eighteen tracks on rotation and an 8.2 average, Toy Tonics is a reliable source of plush, disco-leaning electronics. Coeo, Black Loops and Art Alfie supply warm house and nu-disco grooves, while Rhode & Brown, JoeL Holmes and Phenomenal Handclap Band bring silkier synth textures and quirky live-band energy across the label’s deep house, freestyle and electro output.
It sits in a smart middle ground between underground grit and polished dance-floor functionality. The consistent quality suggests a curated A&R ear that prizes punchy drums, colourful chords and a distinct, retro-futurist optimism. For the Ninja, Toy Tonics remains a go-to for electronic hooks that bridge eras without sounding like pastiche.
