Double Six Records

Double Six Records operates at the blurred edge of deep house and dub techno, folding ambient washes and downtempo restraint into its framework. George FitzGerald, Lil Silva and Panda Bear temper club momentum with introspective, songful sensibilities, while Tracey Thorn and Boxed In lend vocal warmth to otherwise submerged electronic architectures.

An average Ninja score of 8.1 across twelve tracks suggests a catalogue that rewards repeated, close listens without ever chasing obvious floor-fillers. It sits in the deeper currents of the underground, too songful for purist techno territory yet too skeletal and dubwise for the mainstream, carving out a patient, twilight-hour niche of its own.
