Cocoon Recordings
A label the Ninja keeps in rotation, and the artists on it.
9 records in rotation · 31 plays on air
Across ten tracks in rotation, Cocoon Recordings holds an 8.5 average by balancing muscular techno, minimal grooves, and electro-tinged progressions. Johannes Heil, Extrawelt, and AZIMUTE supply the heavier, tripped-out fare, while Steve Bug, Denis Horvat, and Jonathan Kaspar lean into sharper, house-leaning frameworks. The result is a catalogue that favours precision-engineered tension without drifting into excess.
With its feet firmly in the electronic underground, the label bridges peak-time functionality and subtle sophistication. Its range across techno, minimal techno, house, electro, and progressive house places it among the more versatile imprints currently circulating, offering reliable ammunition for DJs who value structure as much as swing.
