John Talabot

The sound moves through a spectrum of electronic moods, from the beatless drift of ambient and downtempo into the pulsing frameworks of deep house, electro house and deep techno. Across thirty-one tracks, an average of 8.5 reflects a consistency in warm, melodic production that rewards repeated listens without settling into one lane.

The label spread maps a home in the progressive underground: Permanent Vacation, Studio Barnhus, Hivern Discs, K7 Records, The Night Land and AD 93 mark outposts where leftfield electronics and deeper dancefloor sensibilities intersect. It is a catalogue built for intimate rooms and headphone reveries alike.
