The tempo sits at a brisk 136 BPM, pushing the bassline frame into a quicker, more urgent register than the usual swing. Energy registers at a near-constant 9, realised through taut drum programming and low-end that snaps rather than swells. There is little room for breath; every bar feels accounted for, trimmed of excess until only the lean mechanism remains.
In a set, this lands where the floor already expects motion—perhaps the second hour, when bodies need a prompt rather than a persuasion. The 12A slant keeps the temperature even, avoiding dramatic peaks or valleys. It does not rewrite the formula, but it executes the maths with enough precision to justify its place in the crate.
