I keep coming back to how flat and efficient the drums feel at 128, all piston-push and no padding. In 3A, the bassline moves in tight, boxed-in circles, keeping strictly to a jackin framework with no melodic deviation. Every element sounds compressed to its functional limit, and because the energy is already at ten, there is nowhere left for the tension to build.

That intensity makes the record useful for stitching together heavier moments, though it offers me little breathing room. I would slot it in to fill a gap with precision rather than personality: effective on the floor, but unlikely to be the reason anyone remembers the night.
