The Ninja on this record
The drums land squarely at 128 BPM with a disciplined clip, locking into a minor-key stride that favours momentum over melody. There is little ornamentation; instead, the pressure sits in the low-mids, pushing the mix forward with the kind of sustained intensity that suits a room already in motion.
It functions best as connective tissue, bridging weightier cuts without thinning the atmosphere. The 3A tonality keeps things shadowed and coherent, while the track’s own voltage maintains drive through the transition. You would drop it when the floor needs propulsion rather than a climax, letting its steady pulse knit the set together.
