Sex & Love Affair (Rework)

I keep this one in the bag for when the room is already sweaty and I need momentum without a meltdown. At one-two-five, Navarro’s rework rides an F# major lift with a brassy, optimistic sheen, but the real graft is in the grid: every hi-hat flick and bass thump calibrated for forward motion that never tips into overload. It is the sound of a dependable peak-time engine, polished and relentless.

This is not a record that demands my headline slot; it earns its keep in the transitional trenches, bridging bigger records while refusing to let the floor sag. Solid, credible house—functional, yes, but crafted with enough groove to remind me that utility and soul are not mutually exclusive.
