I hear a kick that lands with clockwork insistence at 130 BPM, while the tribal percussion stacks in dense, sweat-soaked layers that leave little room for melody. To my ears, everything is calibrated for maximum efficiency: the energy reading is pinned to ten, yet the texture stays blunt and utilitarian, more steamroller than sculpture.

When I’m playing a set, I use it as a pressure-seal between bigger vocal records, letting the crowd ride its unrelenting 5A groove without distraction. It will never be the night’s defining moment, but at this tempo and intensity it keeps the walls shaking exactly where I need them.
