The groove runs at a steady 128 BPM in 6A, stitching conga patterns to a rubbery bassline that stays firmly in G minor territory. A repeated vocal phrase sits on top, polished and precise, pushing the energy toward a 9 without ever really letting the drums breathe. Everything is tight, maybe too tight; the tribal elements feel sampled rather than lived-in, ticking boxes for the current Nervous palette.
In a set, this slots neatly into the thick of a crowded floor, bridging tougher techno cuts into friendlier territory. It will move bodies, no question, but the room it builds is more mirrored corridor than open space—reflecting the trend rather than shaping it. Useful, yes, but I will likely reach for something with more grit after a few plays.
