The Ninja on this record
At a steady 130 BPM in 9A, this is peak-time house with its sleeves rolled up, built for movement rather than gimmicks. The energy sits at a relentless nine, but the architecture feels utilitarian: a taut, forward-leaning groove that locks the floor without stealing the show, letting the percussive framework do the heavy lifting.
That utilitarian quality is precisely its strength. It slots neatly between bigger records, acting as a high-voltage bridge that keeps the room’s pressure constant while the DJ reaches for the next bombshell. There is no unnecessary fat here—just a streamlined, functional pulse designed to maintain momentum in the thick of a set.
