I drop the needle and Eden Burns immediately has the throttle wide open: the kick sits in a relentless 122 BPM pocket, all sharp edges and metallic percussion slicing through with the gleeful menace of leftfield electro. In my sets, this bridges peak-time techno and freakier electro—I’d slingshot it in when the room is already sweating and watch bodies lock into its pummelling, hypnotic stride.
