I hear the kicks land with surgical insistence at 125bpm, each hit driving deeper into the floorboards as though the groove itself is tunnelling toward the foundations. There is no respite in this ten-out-of-ten energy onslaught: only locked hats, a minor-key smoulder in 5A, and a relentless pulse that forbids the room from exhaling. To me, it feels raw in the truest sense—stripped, tar-black, and utterly hypnotic.

I keep this weapon strictly for the dead hours, when the crowd is lean and the system is mercilessly pushed to its limits. I do not drop it to raise hands; I deploy it to narrow eyes and weld bodies to the rhythm, a bridging cut between peak-time punishment and the darker, dubbier corners of the night.
