Inhale (Lotech Hijack Rework)

I keep coming back to the way this rework looms rather than races at 120 BPM. Lotech Hijack pushes the energy to a near-aggressive 9, yet the dub-techno architecture keeps everything submerged—corroded chords and kick drums that thud like they’re bleeding through a wall. The E minor key gives it a bruised, nocturnal tint, and texturally it feels like scuffed aluminium and cigarette smoke, with delays trailing off into black corners.

In my sets, this lands during that precarious after-hours window when the floor is thinning but the faithful remain. It moves with a slow, hydraulic certainty, letting the low-end do the talking while the hi-hats flicker like a faulty neon sign. I don’t expect anyone to dance so much as succumb to its pressure, which makes it a potent bridge between heads-down dub and something more physically demanding.
