I keep coming back to the way Groovecat locks a 125bpm D-minor drift into full, unrelenting energy without scorching the earth. Deepalma’s palette is unmistakable here: airy, organic layers hover above a disciplined kick, letting the track breathe even as it insists on forward motion. There is a dreaminess to it, but it is muscular—less lullaby, more hypnosis—rooted in a minor-key melancholy that tugs at the sternum while the floor keeps moving.

In my sets, this sits where the night tips from conversation into ritual: too driving for the bar, too textured for main-room bluntness.
