I hear this at 143 BPM in 5A's minor register and immediately know the dial is welded to ten: Red Rooms are not interested in easing anyone in. The kick hits like a piston, the hats slice with industrial precision, and every synth line is stripped back to maximise tension. There is no breathing room, just a hypnotic, forward-rolling groove that locks the floor into submission from the first bar.
I would drop this in the dying moments of a cramped, strobe-lit basement set when the air is thick and the crowd is too far gone to need melody, only momentum. Token's reputation for raw, functional techno is upheld perfectly here: it is not clever, it is necessary, and it absolutely devastates.
