The 1A key casts a shadowy pall that keeps the mood submerged even with the energy at nine; Bortz lets the melodies creep in at the edges rather than assault the floor, so the whole thing feels like pressure being applied rather than released.

I would save this for the thick of a set, not the warm-up. The deep techno chassis keeps everything grounded, but that leftfield melodic drive gives it just enough colour to stand out under strobes. When the room is already dense, its sustained, near-feverish momentum does the heavy lifting without ever tipping into excess.
