The Ninja on this record
The groove locks in at a steady 128 BPM, sitting comfortably in Defected’s wheelhouse of polished vocal house. The topline rides the crest of the kick with an urgency that matches the energy rating of 8, while the bassline anchors everything in the harmonic shade of 6A. It is the kind of record that fills a room without trying too hard, each element given space to breathe across a spacious mix.
In a set, this is your bridge between singalong moments and heads-down momentum. It does not reinvent the blueprint, but it executes the formula with precision, slotting neatly into peak-time slots where familiarity and forward motion are equally prized. For club systems tuned to this frequency, it delivers exactly what the floor ordered.
