I hear the kick land like a slab of concrete at 130bpm, with everything around it peeled back to let that ten-out-of-ten intensity detonate steadily in the red. There is no respite in the programming—just cold, mechanical forward motion rooted in 4A that feels closer to vintage electro than polished peak-time, all jagged synths and a reverberating void that leaves little room for air.

When I drop this, it functions as a bridging device with serious teeth: too fierce for warm-up, too linear for hands-in-the-air, yet absolutely lethal when the room needs a jolt of underground functionality. It carries the Hotflush pedigree not through melody but through sheer, disciplined pressure, and it reminds me that Scuba and SCB still know how to build a room from the floor up.
