I hear the rhythm moving at a glacial seventy-three beats per minute, less a pulse and more a slow exhalation across my mixer. The D-minor tonality feels submerged, as though the entire frequency spectrum has been dragged through deep water. With energy registering at a mere whisper of one, there is no peak-time utility here, only texture: layers of synthetic fog that accumulate rather than resolve, creating a hypnagogic pressure that fills every corner of the room.

I’d drop this at the bleached-out final hour or as a bridge between rhythmic arcs; it functions as a reset button for bodies still in motion. It does not ask for movement but rather a collective leaning-in, a shared drift. Modern Love’s signature leftfield architecture is audible in the negative space, making this less ambient wallpaper and more a functional, if confrontational, tool for the patient selector.
