I hear the neat confidence of a Ninja Tune stalwart in the kick, locking into a 120 BPM stride that feels more runway than backroom. The energy sits at an assertive 8, yet the deep-house chassis is buffed to a mirror sheen—every hi-hat flick and sub roll arriving in key 2A with tasteful, almost architectural precision. There is motion, certainly, but it is the motion of a well-oiled machine rather than a body throwing elbows.

In my sets, this is the transition piece: credible enough to keep the floor engaged, yet polished to the point of risk-aversion. It sits comfortably in the warm-up pocket or a peak-time bridge, though its reluctance to fray at the edges means it will not be the record I reach for at closing.
