Behemoth
I hear Holtsberry running a 125bpm grid with the patience of a locksmith, letting that 9B tonality settle into the bones before the low-end heft truly announces itself. The energy is undeniable—nine out of ten—but it is channelled into weight rather than noise, a warm, sub-heavy throb that feels like leaning against a bass bin at four in the morning. Every hi-hat tick and filtered pad is kept minimal, refusing clutter so the groove can stretch out and sweat.
In my bag, this is the cut I reach for when the room is already converted and the lights refuse to come up: late-night, underground, devotional. It does not break pace; it deepens it, sitting comfortably between rolling deep tech and the sharper end of minimal techno. For the refused. faithful, it is pure pedigree—familiar in spirit, devastating in execution.
