Agfachrome RSX II

The Ninja · 8.4/10

Skatebard sends Agfachrome RSX II through circuitry that actually breathes, and I feel every volt: fluttering pads and a rounded bassline pinned to a 125 BPM frame locked in 5A. The energy is sky-high yet never frantic, channelling that charge into propulsive, melodic house with a leftfield slant, each filter sweep curling like smoke under a strobe. I get a distinct Bordello A Parigi romanticism from this—gritty, nocturnal, slightly nostalgic.

I would drop this as the bridge between peak-time muscle and something more cerebral, letting it reintroduce colour after tougher techno without sacrificing drive. The analogue textures thicken the air, building a room that feels intimate even when the floor is packed, while that level-nine intensity ensures nobody mistakes it for a breather. To my ears, it is exactly the kind of distinctive underground weapon that rewards a system with proper low end.
