The Ninja on this record
The kick settles into a clean 128 BPM grid with the unhurried confidence of progressive trance that knows its destination is horizontal, not vertical. Textures feel light and expansive, letting the minor-key pull of 7A colour the space without ever turning heavy or claustrophobic. There is a clear sense of altitude, as if the mix were recorded with the windows open.
Its energy sits at a level that can lift a room without needing to bludgeon it, making the record a natural fit for the mid-set climb where momentum matters more than punch. It builds breadth rather than tension, offering a wide plateau for mixing rather than a sharp peak. In the right room, it functions as a breather that still keeps bodies moving.
