The Ninja on this record
The looped vocal chirp and swung bass stabs settle into a 128 BPM stride that feels brisk but unhurried, letting the one-bar hooks handle most of the conversational weight. In Ab minor, the palette stays cool and slightly smoky, with the energy sitting at a comfortable seven—present enough to push a floor, but never lunging for unnecessary tension.
This is a record built for the transition hours: the sort of thing that slips neatly between warmer UKG cuts and rowdier bassline without breaking sweat. There is an unfiltered charm to its economy, and that daytime tilt means it soaks up sun rather than strobes. It moves hips through familiarity, not force.
