The breakbeat snaps at 136bpm with a severity that matches the energy ten rating, every snare landing like a dry click against cold metal. There is no fluff here; the low-end moves in tight, coiled patterns that feel closer to UK bass lineage than festival fare, and the 7A key keeps the mood shaded, almost metallic, refusing any sentimental lift.
In a set, this sits comfortably in the final hours when the room has thinned to devotees and the system can breathe. Kalahari Oyster Cult's leftfield tilt means it never panders, offering instead a skeletal, precise momentum that reveals its purpose when dropped after something warmer, letting the chill of its structure reset the floor without clearing it.
