The Ninja on this record
At 120 BPM in E minor, the groove sits in that pocket between poolside languor and floor urgency, letting the melodic hooks breathe without racing the tempo. The energy reads high, but the track spreads it across wide pads and rolling bass rather than stacking spikes of noise, so the room stays bright and open.
It is the sort of record you reach for when the sun is still up and the floor needs momentum without darkness; the key keeps things rooted in a minor tint that stops the sweetness from cloying. There is enough space in the arrangement to layer vocals or percussion over the top, which makes it a useful bridge between deeper warm-up cuts and the heavier gear that follows.
