The Ninja on this record
The rhythm locks at a steady 125 BPM, leaving plenty of room for Allysha Joy’s vocal to sit forward in the mix. Dam Swindle keeps the low end rounded and the percussion crisp, working in 3A with a warmth that stops the track from feeling clinical. It is a straightforward, functional frame: shuffled hi-hats, a walking bassline, and a chorus that arrives without pretension.
At energy level ten, it fills a floor without raising its voice. I would place it after midnight, when the crowd is warm but still wants a human element to anchor the kick drum. There is no excess decoration; every element serves the groove. It is the sort of honest, well-cut house record that earns its place through efficiency rather than spectacle.
