At 125 BPM in 8A, this sits squarely in the melodic house pocket, and its energy level is high enough that I would trust it to keep a floor moving. The groove is tidy, the harmonies pleasant, but nothing in the architecture grips my ear; it functions as connective tissue between bigger moments rather than a destination in itself.
I could drop it mid-set without disruption, yet that is precisely the issue. With no vocal phrase or melodic hook to anchor memory, the track dissipates as soon as the next record drops. It does its job and little else, leaving my crate with no strong reason to return.
