The Ninja · 7.6/10

I hear the kick land with that 125 BPM inevitability, yet it is the surrounding haze that defines this organic house cut: smoky chords and brushed percussion that feel played rather than programmed, all locked in the subdued minor tint of 4A. There is a deliberate patience here; the energy sits at a confident eight, propulsive enough to keep bodies moving yet restrained enough to let the melody smoulder rather than ignite.

To my ears, this is firmly a late-night weapon, best deployed when the room is already slippery and the lights have dimmed to amber. It builds horizontal space rather than vertical spectacle, creating a warm, breathing pocket on the floor where melodic house can stretch out without drifting into anonymity. I would drop it after something tougher and watch the shoulders loosen.
