To my ears, it is less conventional deep house than a lean, leftfield pressure cooker, stripping back any excess to let the bass and rhythm do the talking.

I would slot this in when the room is already sweating—after something rugged to maintain momentum, or as a transitional bridge into tougher territory. The 12B key keeps things tense and focussed, and the track’s relentless percussive drive builds a narrow, tunnel-like space where the floor has little choice but to lock in and move with me.
