Kesstech

The Ninja · 7.9/10

At a steady 130 bpm in the shadowy register of 4A, "Kesstech" rolls with the disciplined menace of peak-time tech trance filtered through a dub mindset. Robert Dietz keeps the energy pegged at a relentless eight, stripping the groove to piston-like kicks and metallic percussion that feels more warehouse ritual than festival anthem. There is no flab, just forward motion.

This is exactly what I expect from a Kalahari Oyster Cult cut: lean, hypnotic, and unapologetically underground. The dub-tinged pressure leaves plenty of room in the mix for a DJ to layer, yet the track's internal momentum is enough to drive a set alone. I would slot this after midnight when the floor wants propulsion without melodrama—a functional weapon with just enough personality to linger.
