At one-forty in C minor, this thing moves like tectonic plates shifting beneath a dancefloor. I find the kick relentless—energy ten means every hit lands like a calibrated thud—and yet the surrounding space is all dub delay and cavernous reverb, pulling the tempo inward rather than letting it sprint. It is that rare strain of peak-time hypnosis: the BPM is high, but the mood is underwater, weighty, and patient.
Ignez lets the low-end do the talking, carving out room in the mids for ghosts of melody to flicker in the grey. In a set, I would drop this after midnight when the crowd no longer needs a handrail—something for the final hours when the system is hot and the air is thick. It does not ask you to dance so much as submit.
