I keep coming back to that disciplined 118 BPM stride—Reid Willis pitches it at a steady energy of seven, letting the rhythm section do the heavy lifting while experimental textures flicker at the edges. It never fully resolves into ambient drift or pure dance-floor utility, and I reckon that tension is exactly what gives it character.

In my sets, this is the sort of leftfield club pivot I look to Mesh for: functional enough to keep bodies moving, yet skewed enough to clear the room of cliché. The D minor key adds a subtle metallic melancholy that sits comfortably between warm-up patience and heads-down hypnosis, making it a reliable bridge when I want tension rather than release.
