I Was Young (Justnique Remix)

At 122 BPM in A major, the remix lays down a brisk pulse. The vocal sits upfront, melodic and clean, while the percussion pushes at a pitch that rarely dips below fevered. There is a brightness to the key that keeps the mood light, but the mix feels crowded, as if every element is competing for the same frequency band.

In a set, this slots into the warm-up or a mid-point transition—its melodic appeal works before peak time, though the energy suggests otherwise. The Apparel Music pedigree keeps it credible, yet the remix seems hesitant to let the groove breathe, favouring constant motion over patience. It moves bodies, but not always with purpose.
