The low-end pressure hits my ears not as a wallop but as a slow, sidling throb, threading F# minor gloom through a 130 BPM grid that feels closer to a stalk than a sprint. I hear the energy kept at a coiled six, with the bassline doing the heavy lifting while percussion stays clipped and purposeful; it is the sort of leftfield tackle that worms between techno and UK bass without committing fully to either camp.

In my bag, this is the disorienting pivot I drop when the floor needs tension rather than release. The sparseness leaves room for the system to breathe, and at this tempo it slots neatly after a grubby breaks track or before something more unhinged, proving to me that distinction on a club system does not always require maximal force.
