At one-thirty, the groove doesn’t so much roll as it prowls, low-slung and tactile, with sub-bass frequencies that seem to map the architecture of the room itself. I hear Overmono favouring texture over anthem, letting the breaks stutter and reassemble with a precision that keeps the tension coiled rather than released, and that 8B lift gives the low end a deceptive brightness that prevents the darkness from ever fully settling.

I’d drop this at the discerning floor’s peak arc, when the crowd is sharp enough to handle deviation but still hungry for forward motion. It demands a system that can translate its intricate sound design into physical pressure, slotting neatly between straighter techno and something wigglier; for me, it’s an energy-eight pivot point that rewards patient selectors.
